If you are looking for an action movie extraordinaire, look no further. Gangs of Wasseypur is a film comprising two parts - Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and Gangs of Wasseypur 2. The first part deals with the rise of the criminal Syed Behrani who enters into coal mining. The second deals with his son's vengeance against those who had conspired against him and killed his father. Both parts are extremely gripping. The first part of the movie is more engaging than the second one. The characters are very well crafted and dominate the film. The acting of each character is also done excellently. It is shocking to see Manoj Bajpai, one of the best actors in Bollywood, perform under an extremely different character than what he usually plays on screen. He plays a coal mine owner who hails from Wasseypur city in India and has migrated to America for business purposes . But he decides to go back to his hometown at the behest of his family members. Hats off to the director for taking this risk. Gangs of Wasseypur 2 is one of the finest action movies. The action, the cinematography, the storyline are all prime examples of what an energy packed cinema can achieve. The sets are marvelous, actors are absolutely brilliant and all the action sequences are shot in a manner that has rarely been seen before or since. It will leave you awestruck at how much Bollywood thought has gone into this movie. If you have not watched either part yet, then Gangs of Wasseypur 2 is a must see movie for you. This film offers us insights into our Indian society, of which majority many of us are not aware of.
