Mortal Kombat is one of the most famous games of all time. The game was originally released in 1992. Mortal Kombat 11 or MK11 is an upcoming video game that is due to release on April 23, 2019 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As always in this series, the MK11 Kombat Pack includes four new characters for players to choose from when they create their roster in Mortal Kombat 11 with three different DLC packs available for purchase individually or as a bundle. This time around the team at NetherRealm Studios has committed to making all DLC launch characters free so it’s up to you what you want to buy. Here are the characters you are able to get in-game when you buy the Kombat Pack. Erron Black Erron Black is one of three new characters introduced in the Kombat Pack 1 DLC who made their debut appearance in Mortal Kombat X. The Outworld Bounty Hunter will enter the ring with a variety of weapons at his disposal, including his trademark crossbow and bolas. His ‘Gun Flame’ super move will be one to watch out for, as he picks up a pistol and shoots an enemy into the air before blasting them with his shotgun for high damage. Erron Black is unlocked from the start of your Mortal Kombat 11 experience. Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th) The iconic and always-popular killer Jason Voorhees joins Mortal Kombat 11 via the Kombat Pack 2 DLC. The undead serial killer enters the ring to deliver brutal and intense fighting techniques, including his preferred weapon of choice, his machete. Living up to his reputation as a savage creature, Jason can perform an unblockable ‘Killer Instinct’ move that will kill any opponent in one hit. It’s certainly not one you’ll want to get on the wrong side of! Jason Voorhees is unlocked by completing all Test Your Luck challenges whilst playing online multiplayer. Takashi Takeda The final member of the Kombat Pack 2 DLC is the deadly Takashi Takeda. A well-known martial arts expert, Takashi has trained in many different fighting styles over the years, mastering his own style of Shaolin Boxing. His ‘Splitsider’ special move is a deadly combo that will send opponents flying with a strong shoulder charge followed by a devastating knee strike. He can also execute his ‘Special Delivery’ super move which will teleport him to any opponent's side and deliver an uppercut before smashing them with an open palm strike. On April 16, 2019, it was announced Mortal Kombat 11 would be receiving a new DLC, called "Kombat Pack 2", and would include the first and second guest characters (Jason Voorhees and Takeda) as well as two new klassic charaters (Tremor and the first guest female character, Leatherface). The Kombat Pack 2 is available for purchase on Steam for MSRP $29.99 as of May 7th.
